Lisa Sparrow
President & CEO
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Corix, Lisa establishes strategic direction, ensuring the company effectively meets operational and growth objectives. With over 35 years of experience in the manufacturing, energy and infrastructure sectors, she has held a number of executive positions prior to becoming Corix’s President and CEO in 2018.
An active leader in the professional utility community, Lisa has served as a US National Drinking Water Advisory Council member, a USEPA Climate Ready Utilities Working Group member, Vice President and President of the National Association of Water Companies and Director of the Water Research Foundation Board.
Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master in Management degree from Northwestern University’s JL Kellogg School of Business.
Travis Hickford-Kulak
Chief Operating Officer (West)
Travis leads the development and operations of Corix’s energy portfolio in western North America. Travis joined Corix in 2008 following a successful career in utility construction and GeoExchange industries; he has been a key founding member of Corix’s energy business since.
Travis is actively engaged in our sector and has served on the Board of Directors of both the International District Energy Association and GeoExchange BC. He holds various accreditations and certifications related to the Design and Construction of utility and energy infrastructure.
Seth Whitney
Chief Operating Officer (East)
Seth oversees the operational functions of Cleveland Thermal and leads development opportunities in eastern North America. His experience in utility construction and management is paramount to driving sustainable growth for Corix.
Seth serves on the Board of Directors for Cleveland 2030 District, an Ohio-based Energy Sustainability Organization, and is active in multiple other organizations that work to improve the design and construction process of developments and energy infrastructure.
Seth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Akron.
Max Wang
Chief Financial Officer
Max leads Corix’s Financial Planning, Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Insurance teams with more than 15 years of experience in corporate and financial services roles.
Since 2018, Max has been instrumental in developing successful financial reporting processes to help guide the business toward sound decisions. Prior to this, Max spent over a decade working in audit and assurance services in Vancouver and London (UK).
Max holds a Bachelor of Management (Accounting) from the University of Lethbridge and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant.
Fan Jiang
Chief Growth Officer & VP Administration
Fan is responsible for running the transformative growth transactions that support Corix’s strategic objectives, including mergers and acquisitions and greenfield development opportunities. She also oversees the annual valuation process and corporate administration teams encompassing marketing and communication, people and culture, and information technology.
Fan joined Corix in 2019 as part of the corporate development team. Prior to, she spent over a decade in investment banking and project finance, covering infrastructure and energy sectors in various roles.
Fan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
Allan McGavin
Chief Legal Officer
Allan is responsible for governance, coordination and management of Corix’s legal affairs and risk management strategy, as well as providing strategic guidance and legal counsel on the company’s management, development and day-to-day activities.
Allan joined Corix in 2020 as in-house counsel on secondment from the law firm Farris LLP. Prior to joining Corix, Allan practiced business law, including corporate commercial, governance, M&A, and finance in Vancouver for over a decade.
Allan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, both from Queen’s University, and is called to the Bar in British Columbia.
